- The Executive Branch includes the Governor and the Executive Department. For the purposes of user-friendly research, the collections we have under the Executive Collection directly relate to the position of Governor.
Comprehensive Rivers Management Plan
- Comprehensive river resource management plans for each watershed with a hydropower project licensed under the Federal Power Act. These plans include state agency comments, recommendations and permitting decisions, as well as information about minimum flows, impoundment levels, upstream and downstream fish passage, maintenance of aquatic habitat and habitat productivity, public access, and recreational opportunities.
Governor's Collections
- MSA holds records from 14 of Maine's 74 governors, most of which have not yet been processed or digitized. In 2019, Governor LePage's office was the first governor to provide the Archives with a copy of already digitized records.
